I booked a room at Apollinaire because I thought the location was good and also, I really liked the way this hotel looked in the pictures they posted on booking.com - but I didn't check the reviews. Before arriving, I read some reviews and to my surpise, they weren't really good and they made me a little bit nervous about my stay there. The truth is , the hotel doesn't look exactly like in the pictures. The decor of the rooms is the same, but what you don't see in the pictures is that the walls and the furniture are a little bit old and degraded and there is some dust here and there. But in my opinion, this were minor downsides. The location is absolutely great if you plan to visit Paris, it is very close to 2 metrostations ( Vavin and Edgar Quinet) and you have all connections that you need to get around the city. The breakfast is simple yet qualitative and delicious. The staff is really nice and helpful. The room was actually really cosy and warm , the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were soft , bathroom was ok too. Towels were changed whenever it was needed, the bed was made everyday. Overall , the hotel was nice and I would definitely come back . If you book early ,it's a good value for the price.

Really enjoyed the location it was conveniently close to Montparnasse station and Palais Luxemburg, the staff was friendly and helpful to me and the other guest. They offered to store my baggage when we arrived before check-in time, and they spoke English and Spanish. Also really was happy that one of the staff members prepared a hot tea for us on a cold night. A night where we couldn't find anywhere else to get tea or something hot given the time. The Hotel is surrounded by hundreds of businesses in walking distance (less than 1km), restaurants, bars, cafés, crêperie, boulangerie, dry cleaners, theaters, street market with produce, Carrefour, and more. In addition you have metro stations, bus stops, rental bikes, rental scooters, taxis, and one of the main train stations in France for longer journeys. Oh yes and really enjoyed the windows looking towards the street.

We stayed here in June 2023. The staff was very helpful! We got there ahead of check-in time, and they let us check-in a little early. They also stored our luggage on the last day. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed had a great mattress and we slept great. Plenty of comfortable pillows. It was a very hot week in Paris, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable. Loved the location! Very close to a pharmacy, the subway, several patisseries, that were amazing, and a grocery store with fresh-squeezed orange juice. We would definitely stay here again!

Me and my boyfriend have spent 4 nights in hotel Apollinaire. We are very satisfied with the room. Everything was very clean, we were on the 5th floor with cute balcony and view on Montparnasse tower and parisian roofs :). Clean towels everyday, staff was very kind, location was perfect! 10 minutes walk to Luxembourg gardens, little more to Latin quarter and Notre Dame. Couple metro stations just around the corners. The street is full of cute restaurants, french bakeries, grocery stores, everything you need. Thanks for beautiful stay :)!

Located in a one way street between 2 metro stations, safe area even into late night, TONS of resturants anbd shops around, not in a tourists area so you will get to hang out with some locals, a little out of the way to major attractions but it's not far, there are couple small supermarkets and bakeries on the same street. Hotel itself is very small for USA standard but it's normal for Paris, it has what you need for your stay. Breakfast buffet (not included) was surprisingly good. Overall a good stay.
